Lying behind South Bank, the West End, Auchenflower area is fast emerging out of the shadow of the city, with a reputation as a great place to dine and be seen. Visitors will enjoy a fabulous selection Asian and European cafes and restaurants.
On the fringe of the CBD, the suburb of Milton is home to the stadium where Brisbane's all conquering rugby league team, the Broncos, contest their home games each season. Down the road only 100 metres or so, is one of Queenslands' largest breweries. The Castlemaine-Perkins XXXX brewery conducts guided tours Mondays to Wednesdays, although you must book ahead.
