Marlborough, Sarina
From Rockhampton, it's a relatively vast and barren section of coastline to Mackay, the town which marks the beginning of the Whitsunday Coast. Marlborough is a good fuel and rest stop, while Sarina, 40kms south of Mackay, has many fine beaches including Campwin, Grasstree, Half Tide, and Armstrong. There are also some lovely rose gardens in town.
